FPU Style, One Day Workshop This Saturday

I have been asked by a local church to speak on the topic of finances this weekend. The event is taking place here in chino at Joy Community Church on 13971 Ramona Ave. from 6pm to 8pm.

Childcare is included and the event is free. Many of you may already have received my email that was sent earlier today. I will be teaching budgeting and debt snowball directly from Dave's FPU lessons. I will also end the session by showing the FPU preview video to entice these folks to attend the next class which will be spearheaded as a result of this workshop. Hope to see you there.

FPU II

Just A Reminder that FPU II is happening in 10 Days! Here is the email blast that many of you received last week. What a cool thing to invite a friend to. Get them hooked on Dave like the rest of us. Here it is...

We have a date for the first offering of FPU II

When: Sunday March 22nd

What Time? 5pm to 8pm

Who Should Attend? All FPU Alumni (no children please)

What Should I Bring? Bring a small appetizer to share

How Will This Work? Respond to me anytime between now and the 20th with a question, scenario, situation, hypothetical, something that happened to a friend of yours (wink wink nod nod) and I can put together a list of items for us to discuss as a group and get everyone’s feedback on. In addition, bring your victory stories and be ready to talk about those things that you tried that worked. Most importantly tell us what you tried that did not work.

Based on the last FPU class last week where several of you attended, I think that this will be a lot of fun. It was great to catch up with everyone present and to hear how they are doing.

Do I RSVP? Yes please! But if you forget, don’t let that keep you from coming. Just show up!

Another FPU Class Starting Soon

Since the article appeared in the Daily Bulletin on Monday, I have been bombarded with phone calls about the course. We had about 10 people come and check out the Tuesday night class and they all decided that they wanted to take the course. How cool is that? Well, it looks like Monday nights is going to be when we do this. The only missing detail right now is when we will begin and where it will take place.

If any of you know someone who would be willing to host this class, please let me know asap. I would need a facility that has AV equipment and room for at least 20 people with an additional area that is safe enough for childcare. Stacie and I will provide for childcare, refreshments, etc.

Tomorrow Night's Class is a Great Refresher and a Great Preview

If you are viewing this blog for the first time or for the 100th, you need to know that tomorrow night at Life Chrisitan Fellowship we will be hosting FPU. We are currently in week 4 of the 13 week course. This week's course is Dave's Dumping Debt lesson. He teaches us about credit cards, debt collectors and empowers us to get our financial lives back. Its a powerful lesson.
